In 2012 I followed an intuition and started a new life on the Big Island of Hawaii where I fell in love twice: once with the Tours & Activities industry and again with my beautiful wife Jonika. We had our boy Oliver in 2016.

It was there that I founded my business, MassageHop, and grew it into a multi-island operation that contracted with over thirty massage therapists. I fashioned it from what I learned at working for Body Glove Ocean Adventures. Nobody had quite shaped their massage and wellness business as an activity by utilizing what was then a new booking software company named FareHarbor. It enabled me to seamlessly partner with online travel agencies like Viator and GetYourGuide, giving the company an edge over its competition.

Unfortunately, like so many other small business owners during the pandemic, I had to make difficult choices. Ultimately, I shuttered the business and utilized my technical expertise with FareHarbor’s booking software to begin a new chapter as a Client Onboarding Specialist. I rose through the ranks quickly, becoming an Enterprise level onboarder in just three years before moving into a Lead position in our Tech Support department.
